mcs-query-backends(1) a tool to return available backends for your mcs system.

mcs-query-backends is a maintenance tool for your mcs installation.
It will show you all available backends to store your configuration files.

mcs-query-backends has no options.

Use "default", "kconfig" or "gconf" to select which backend will be used to store mcs-managed applications settings.
"kconfig" and "gconf" are available through libmcs-backend-gconf and libmcs-backend-kconfig packages.
Overrides /etc/mcs-backend.
