DESCRIPTION
lfc_getusrbynam gets the virtual uid associated with a given user name.- username
- specifies the user name. It must be at most 255 characters long.
- uid
- specifies the address of a buffer to receive the Virtual User Id.
RETURN VALUE
This routine returns 0 if the operation was successful or -1 if the operation failed. In the latter case, serrno is set appropriately.ERRORS
- EFAULT
- username or uid is a NULL pointer.
- EINVAL
- This user name does not exist in the internal mapping table or the length of username exceeds 255.
