DESCRIPTION

Overview

wmiibar is a generic and highly customizable bar for the X Window System, originally designed for wmii(1). It supports arbitrary sized labels with arbitrary styles on a per label basis and with button click events. Like wmii, wmiibar also implements a socket-based fileserver, which is accessed to configure and interoperate with other components.

Options

-s socketfile

specifies the socketfile that wmiibar should create.

-v

prints version information to stderr, then exits.

Customization

wmiibar is customized through manipulating its filesystem namespace. In the default setup of wmii(1) the namespace of wmiibar can be found in /bar.
